Hi my name is Khaliya Reynolds and I am a Biomedical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a minor in Neuroengineering. I work in the NVL Lab on neuroprosthetic learning and brain–machine interface systems that study and modulate neural activity to support learning and recovery in models of neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders. My interests include neural interfaces, computational analysis of brain signals, and prosthetic technologies for restoring sensory and motor function. I plan to pursue a PhD in neuroengineering or biomedical engineering to develop medical devices that improve neurological health and quality of life.
